How to instruct

Mayfair Chambers accepts instructions from lawyers in independent private practice or in-house legal departments, whether they are practising in the UK or globally. In addition, Chambers can accept instructions from any individual, professional body or organisation satisfying the Bar Council’s Licensed Access rules. Counsel does not accept instructions directly from lay clients. However, his Chambers can assist lay clients in finding an appropriate solicitor in the UK or abroad who may be able to act for the lay client in order that the matter can then be referred to Counsel.
